Last weekend, I was invited by the lovely team from Off the Rail to the epic launch of the brand in Canary Wharf. The name really does speak for it self. Recently, being featured on fashion monitorthe concept behind the 'Off the Rail' is truly superb.
" Off-The-Rail is an exclusive, innovative online shopping platform aimed at young, trend-setting creatives between the ages of 18-35. The site showcases the top hand-picked fashion graduates as well as up and coming designers.
Each item sold on Off-The-Rail is one-of-a-kind. All items are available to buy every first of the month, once the item has sold, it will not be available for purchase again. Therefore customers should get in quick before the item sells. "
The concept is supporting emerging designers, offering a platform for young, up-and-coming designers to showcase one-off pieces for a month only period. It allows independent designers to meet one another through social networking, support unique and unknown designers and we all know in this fashion industry its hard to meet others unless you have the connection. During the launch night the website launched immediately at 12am midnight so fashionistas hurry up and check out unique one off pieces from talented designers around the UK.
