' Ben Sherman English breakfast at The Wolseley '
Last month, I was invited for an English breakfast at the Wolsey by CCD PR.
The breakfast was to reveal the launch of Ben Sherman new men's fragrance 'Ben Sherman Gold'. The exclusive launch only invited a handpick of journalist to view and smell the fragrance before it hits the store.
The lovely Angela from Fab fragrance gave us an educational lesson on how the fragrance was created. Breaking the fragrance down from scent, ingredients, individual notes and the journey it took to create something so magnificent. The notes we were able to smell include jasmine, patchouli, oud, cashmeran, vetiver, sandalwood, musk, amber and tonka bean.
The black and gold backdrop provided the perfect setting to discuss the fragrance, inspiration behind the Brit-art themed Union Jack bottle and purchasing the 50 ml you'll received a gift.
My personal thoughts: I love the fragrance. Initially when I smelt it, I didn't link the brand and smell together. Gold is a rich, woody, masculine scent housed in a Brit art-inspired gold Union Jack shaped bottle. The fragrance is definitely sophisticated and classic.
