Suited and Booted: A Charity to Support

WHAT Suited and Booted: A Charity to Support
WHEN  18th August 2014
WHERE  House of Fraser Nationwide

This morning I was invited to launch the Suited and Booted campaign at House of Fraser Oxford Street. I was extremely honoured to make an appearance and support such a wonderful cause. I’d like to tell you about this amazing charity and what they do.

Berwin & Berwin and House of Fraser have begun a campaign to encourage men to donate their old suits to the Suited & Booted campaign. Suited and Booted offer a wide range of support to people who are unemployed. The charity helps vulnerable, unemployed and low-income men by giving them interview clothing and career advice. It helps a wide range of men who struggle to show their full potential at an interview and look the part and providing interview clothing and interview advice.

Whether they be long-term unemployed, homeless, ex-military personnel or in recovery for mental health problems.  This gives them better prospects of success and contributes to their general self-confidence and self-esteem.

The Cause

They are launching their new charity initiative offering customers £100 off a new suit when you donate your old and unwanted one. Starting from Monday 18th August until Saturday 20 September, House of Fraser stores nationwide will open their clothing banks in order to help the Suited & Booted charity.

"Suited & Booted is delighted to be part of a national campaign that will help us get our vulnerable clients work," commented Dr Maria Lenn, from Suited & Booted. "Donating a suit can really give these men an opportunity to change their life and we thank House of Fraser for their wonderful support."

Please donate your old suits to your local HOF to help the cause and change someones life. The cause is just and if we all stick together and help one another we can really make a difference.

I would also like to thank suiting company Berwin & Berwin for their involvement with the campaign.
